At the Welcome Back Block Party, employers are looking to hire you for on- and off-campus jobs, internships and volunteer positions. Get your resume ready and come dressed to impress. While you’re there, get a professional head shot you can use on LinkedIn to enhance your networking efforts.
The Leadership Certificate Program offers Adelphi students opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills. Register and attend at least six attend workshops on a wide variety of topics during the course of an academic year to earn a certificate.
An experiential learning program, Panthers with a Purpose partners you with area nonprofit organizations in an effort to aid in their sustainability while providing you with substantive internship opportunities during the academic year. Students from various disciplines of study are eligible. Panthers with a Purpose is funded via your federal work study awards.
The PREP program is relevant to students at all levels looking to gain experience in finding employment after college, anyone from a first-year student whose major is undecided to a senior thinking about that first job after college. For students looking for a little guidance any step of the way, the PREP program’s focus on leadership and networking is an easy way to get personalized support and experience.
